MADRID, April 17 (Xinhua) — Spanish national airline Iberia on Tuesday announced it would take advantage of labor reforms passed in Spain in February to cut conditions and pay of its pilots.

The move is certain to escalate tension between the pilots and the company over the recent creation of the company’s low-cost subsidiary Iberia Express.
